Department Objectives
Our Lady of Lourdes College Grade School aims to produce a well-disciplined, academically prepared, socially aware, independent minded and talented students who are equipped with basic skills, attitudes and values needed in their day to day living in preparation for their continuous High School education.
Specific Objectives
1. Communicate one’s ideas, thoughts, feelings and everyday experiences in oral and written form correctly, distinctly, properly and effectively to bring in peace and unity.
2. Mabisang makipagtalastasan sa kaniyang kapwa na pinahahalagahan ang kaniyang pagkatao, pagka-Filipino at pagkamakabayan sa paraang pagsulat o pasalita.
3. Master the four fundamental operations; strengthen their speed and accuracy in computational skills and develop their reasoning ability in solving and analyzing problem situations which are related to daily living
4. Be aware of one’s environment and resources and be able to apply scientific knowledge and skills in solving everyday problems.
5. Develop in the students correct attitudes, imaginative thinking and skills needed for the creative expression of their ideas through various music, art and physical activities and projects.
6. Provide with the basic learning and meaningful experience in personality development, home management family economy and livelihood education and instill in the desirable skills, attitudes and abilities.
7. Prepare the student for leadership by providing co-curricular activities for creativity, responsibility and expression of their talents and interest.
